Recently, a global trend has caught fire that offers outdoor enthusiasts an upgrade on rest and recreation. It’s called glamping, a new word for a new kind of travel, defined as glamorous camping. When you’re glamping, there’s no tent to pitch and no sleeping bag to unroll. Whether in a bell tent, yurt, airstream, hut, teepee or treehouse, glamping is a way to experience the great outdoors without sacrificing luxury. Glamping emerged internationally and came across the Atlantic over the last decade. At this glampsite we provide a choice of three exquisitely handcrafted Yurts, a Hobbit House or an original built Teepee, all re-designed and made here at the glampsite  – Pink Apple Orchard. 

While technology  unfortunately takes over our daily lives, we are proud to announce that we remain a zone without WIFI to gain the best from outdoor living, nature and time spent with those you came with or meet while here. While Pink Apple Orchard has five accommodation pods. All are set within their own space which enables you to be both private if you wish but close enough if you choose to mingle. 

The most luxurious accommodation pod – The Grass Roofed Hobbit House; with wood burning stove, electricity, candle light and also with private toilet and shower facilities.

Below you can view one of three Yurts – All with a little quirk of their own and also made here on sight. One with a small wood burning stove, two with a small electric stove, electricity and outdoor seating is provided, enabling you to have quiet, quality time with your family and or friends.

In addition to The Three Yurts, also made on site is The Teepee; made with a unique Pink Apple Touch and created with locally sourced wood, also boasting its own stylised door and canopy, made similarly to the Yurt doors but suited to The form of The Teepee.

The final one off feature is The Bow Topped Gypsy Wagon constructed traditionally and with a girlie touch; its now used as a show piece. It’s built upon an original, traditional dray, and again designed and constructed on sight, continuing Pink Apple’s quirky theme. Here you can buy wood for the fire pit, wood for two of the accommodations, water, organic apple juice and cider etc, and a selection of unique pottery pieces also made by us.
